Pedestal and folding tables can be great where space is limited, you want to use the room for other purposes, or you want furniture that can serve other purposes than for dinning. Pedestal tables are also easier to move and store for frequently redesigned or rooms that serve more than one purpose. There are also pedestal tables with flip tops. The top of these tables flip up and the feet nest together to allow for easier storage in less space.

This gives more design style and color options. Some of the main types of chairs used with these tables are folding and stacking chairs. Both can be plastic, steel or fabric coverings.
